Communication in an Academic Context

Communication expectations in a new country can be difficult to navigate, and university culture has its own specific norms for interacting. This workshop explains how to communicate effectively with professors and classmates within and outside the classroom. You will learn how to listen, speak, and behave to gain the most from classroom lectures and discussions as well as how to communicate with professors in writing.
